WELCOME TO WHIRLYBALL LEAGUES 2025

We are aiming to start this year's leagues in Cleveland the first week of February with up to four different divisions. Prizes will be awarded to the top teams in each division!

2024 Winter League Schedule

2025 League Overview

  • The league usually runs from early February until mid-May. 
  • First scheduled time is 6PM and the games run until 9/10pm based on the number of teams we have for the season.
  • The first league night is an open practice that gives newer players a chance to find a team if they don't yet have one, as well as have some additional practice. 
  • Please plan to attend and get those reps in while confirming team registration.  
    League's will begin on Monday after the week 1 warm-up on Monday 
  • If a team pays for the entire league before week 2 begins ($805), they will receive a $50 discount.
  • Total league fees, if paid weekly are $60 per team ($13 per player).
  • Teams will play two games each Monday night and we will do our best to schedule each game within the hour of the previous game (this isn't always possible due to the number of courts and the number of teams and divisions).
  • Each WhirlyBall game is twenty minutes long (two 10-minute halves).
  • Each team can have up to ten players on a roster, but only five players needed to play a game.
  • After each game, a winner/loser will be recorded and records will be updated each week. Teams will be able to see league updates, scores and standings throughout the season.
  • Around mid-March, we will divide the leagues based on skill level and begin pool play.  Based on your team's record in pool play, you will be seeded for the end of season tournament in May 2025.  Each skill level or division will have a champion!  Prizes will be awarded to the champions of each division.
  • Snacks, soft drinks and our standard selection of alcoholic beverages are available during league play.

2023 Nationals

Cleveland had the fortunate opportunity to host WhirlyBall Nationals during the summer of 2023 and it was a great success. Over 40 teams from across the country participated in the 4-day tournament, with several teams representing Cleveland, including the winners of the B Division!
